Emergency information only helps when someone can notice it and reach it quickly. CareID combines visible emergency identification with browser-based condition guidance and optional person-specific emergency information.

CareID does not replace emergency services or professional medical care. It gives helpers and responders a clearer starting point when someone may be unable to explain who they are, what condition they have, or what support they need.

Essential FAQ.

Does CareID require an app, subscription, or login?
NO APP, NO SUBSCRIPTION, NO HELPER LOGIN. Helpers open CareID directly in their phone browser. Secure verification may be required for an authorized customer or caregiver to create, approve, or update a personalized profile.
Can I personalize CareID later?
Personalized CareID is selected at purchase. Contact support if you need to update emergency information on an existing CareID.
What happens after I order?
Condition-Ready Emergency Guide orders do not require a personal-information form. Personalized CareID orders receive a secure setup link. The customer may complete the profile immediately or later. Until the personalized profile is approved, supported products can open the selected Condition-Ready Emergency Guide.
Does CareID work without internet?
The QR, NFC, Digital CareID link, and online emergency page require a compatible connected device and internet access. CareID Beacon includes a concealed writable CareID Vault. CareID Card includes a writable emergency-information strip. Those written details can be read without internet.
Can several CareID products use the same profile?
Yes. Multiple CareID access points for the same person can connect to one Personalized CareID Emergency Profile. Each physical or digital access point receives its own permanent CareID URL so it can be managed or disabled individually.
What happens if CareID is lost?
The customer or caregiver can report a CareID access point lost. CareID can disable that individual access point so it no longer displays the personalized profile. Other connected CareID products can remain active.
Who can view a personalized profile?
Anyone with the QR code, NFC tap, or emergency link can view the information the customer chooses to include. Profiles are designed for fast emergency access, are not hidden behind a responder login, and are not listed in a public searchable directory.
Does CareID track the wearer?

No live tracking. CareID does not continuously transmit, store, or share the wearer's live location.

Helper-initiated location sharing. A helper can share the current device location only after actively pressing the location button and granting browser permission.

What is the difference between Beacon, Card, and Digital CareID?
CareID Beacon™ is a wearable QR + NFC bracelet system with physical backups including a concealed writable CareID Vault. CareID Card™ is a premium PVC QR + NFC wallet card with a writable emergency-information strip. Digital CareID™ provides a secure permanent emergency link. Beacon and Card both include Digital CareID access.
