What CareID does
CareID provides emergency-identification access and general condition-related information. It does not provide medical diagnosis, medical treatment, professional medical advice, emergency dispatch, continuous monitoring, or a guarantee of any health or safety outcome.
General guidance and personal information
Condition-Ready Emergency Guides are general informational materials and are not individualized medical instructions. Personalized CareID Emergency Profiles display information submitted and approved by the customer or authorized representative. CareID does not independently verify medical accuracy unless a separate reviewed service is expressly offered.
In an emergency
In an emergency, call 911 or the appropriate local emergency service and follow instructions from qualified professionals. CareID content should not delay emergency care or replace a physician-provided plan, prescribed medication, official medical identification, or other recommended precautions.
What can affect access
CareID does not guarantee that a responder, bystander, caregiver, or institution will find, scan, tap, understand, use, or rely on the product or profile. Device failure, network failure, damaged products, outdated information, language differences, and human judgment can affect use.
Keeping information current
Customers are responsible for reviewing information, maintaining accuracy, testing available QR, NFC, Digital CareID link, and web access where applicable, and consulting qualified healthcare professionals about what information or instructions are appropriate to display.
Helper access and setup
NO APP, NO SUBSCRIPTION, NO LOGIN. This describes helper access to emergency information and does not eliminate the need for compatible devices, connectivity, customer setup, or appropriate emergency action.
