These Terms govern use of careidalert.com and purchases from CareID Alert. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and the policies linked from the store.

CareID products and emergency use

CareID products are identification and information-access tools. They are not medical devices, diagnostic services, medical advice, emergency-response services, GPS trackers, automatic location transmitters, or substitutes for calling 911 or another appropriate emergency service. QR and NFC access depends on compatible equipment, physical condition, connectivity, browser settings, and third-party technology. We do not guarantee that every bystander, responder, device, or network will scan, tap, open, interpret, or act on CareID information.

Customers are responsible for selecting accurate condition guidance, keeping any future personalized information current, testing CareID access points, and using additional identification or safety measures appropriate to their circumstances.

Orders and availability

Product descriptions, prices, availability, and purchase options can change. An order is not accepted until Shopify confirms it and payment is authorized. We may cancel or limit an order because of inventory error, suspected fraud, pricing error, legal restriction, technical issue, or misuse. If payment was collected for a cancelled order, the applicable amount will be refunded.

Accounts and acceptable use

You are responsible for information submitted through your account and for protecting account credentials. Do not misuse the site, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with store operation, upload malicious content, impersonate another person, or use CareID products or services for unlawful, deceptive, or harmful purposes.

Sensitive information

Do not submit medical records, diagnoses, medications, allergies, government identification, or other sensitive medical information through general contact forms, ordinary email, reviews, or Shopify order notes. Personalized-profile information, if that service is released, must be submitted only through the designated secure workflow.

Intellectual property and third parties

CareID names, branding, site content, graphics, product designs, and related materials are owned by or licensed to CareID Alert and may not be copied or commercially reused except as permitted by law. The store relies on Shopify and may integrate with payment processors, carriers, wallet platforms, device manufacturers, and other third parties governed by their own terms.

Disclaimers and limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the site and products are provided without warranties beyond any express written warranty included with the product. CareID Alert is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from inability to scan, tap, access, update, or use information, except where prohibited by law. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

Governing law, changes, and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Florida and the United States, without limiting mandatory consumer protections. We may update these Terms prospectively by publishing a revised effective date. Email support@careidalert.com or visit CareID Support.
