How CareID Works

CareID places emergency guidance or owner-approved emergency information behind a visible QR code and, where included, an NFC tap point.

1. Choose the format

  • CareID Beacon: a wearable bracelet with QR and NFC access plus physical backup layers.
  • CareID Card: a wallet-size physical emergency ID card with QR and NFC access.
  • Digital CareID: phone-based QR and wallet-access components without a shipped physical product.

2. Choose the information level

  • Condition-Ready Emergency Guide: general guidance for the selected condition. It contains no personal medical profile.
  • Personalized CareID Emergency Profile: an optional upgrade containing the owner-approved contacts, medications, allergies, communication notes, or other selected information.

3. A helper scans or taps

The CareID opens in a normal phone browser. The helper does not install an app, create an account, or sign in.

4. Physical and digital backups remain available

Depending on the selected product, backup layers can include a writable CareID Vault, a wallet card, QR assets, a lock-screen wallpaper, and a shareable link.

NO APP, NO SUBSCRIPTION, NO LOGIN. Internet access is required to open online pages. Physical write-in information can provide a limited offline fallback.
