About CareID Alert

CareID Alert helps make essential emergency information easier to find when a person cannot clearly explain what they need.

The system combines visible physical identification, QR access, NFC tap access where included, a digital option, and practical backup layers. CareID is designed for families and caregivers supporting people with dementia or memory loss, epilepsy, autism, severe allergies, diabetes, Parkinson’s, communication differences, wandering risk, and other needs.

Why CareID exists

In an emergency, a helper may have only seconds to understand that someone needs support. A phone may be locked, a caregiver may not be present, and the person may be confused, non-speaking, injured, or unable to recall important details. CareID gives emergency information a clear, visible place to live.

Built around simple access

Helpers can scan or tap a CareID to open the information assigned to it. A Shopify customer account is never required for emergency access. Personalized information is optional and is shown only when the owner chooses that service and completes secure setup.

What CareID is not

CareID is not a medical device, monitoring service, live GPS tracker, substitute for 911, or guarantee of a particular emergency outcome. It is an identification and information-access system designed to support faster understanding.
