Personalized CareID Profile Setup and Access Policy
Availability: Personalized profile configurations remain unavailable for public checkout until the secure intake, proofing, activation, and editing workflow is fully operational.
Authorized submission
The purchaser must be the profile subject or have lawful authority to submit and approve information for that person, including authority as a parent, guardian, caregiver, or authorized representative.
Secure intake
Personal and medical information must be submitted through the approved customer-specific CareID intake process. Do not send sensitive information through order notes, ordinary email, social media, or the general contact form.
Minimum necessary information
Include only information reasonably useful for emergency identification, communication, treatment awareness, safe return, or caregiver contact.
Proof and approval
Before activation, the customer must review spelling, contacts, medications, allergies, instructions, and other displayed information. Production or activation may remain on hold until approval is recorded.
Emergency access
The public emergency view is intended to open without a helper account. Anyone with the QR code, NFC destination, supported wallet asset, lock-screen QR, or direct emergency link may be able to view the information displayed.
Editing access
Editing must use authenticated access separate from the public emergency view. Editing credentials must never be embedded in a QR code, NFC destination, or public URL.
Loss, correction, and closure
Report a lost product, exposed credential, or unauthorized change promptly. Supported actions may include deactivation, destination rotation, profile transfer, correction, caregiver-access removal, replacement, or deletion, subject to identity and authority verification.
Accuracy
The customer or authorized representative is responsible for keeping profile information and emergency contacts current.
